TRIO is a Title IV federally funded college opportunity programs that motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds in their pursuit of a college degree. There are seven college access programs under the TRIO program umbrella which are Talent Search, Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math/Science, Veterans’ Upward Bound, Student Support Services, Educational Opportunity Centers, and the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program.
